Scarce guidebook to Paris of the 1920s which, aside from practical information for travelers, provided such information as the addresses of poets and artists and their studios, Paris nightlife and "Czech Paris" with its numerous writers and artists then living in French exile, an overview of French theatre, film, music, ballet and other artforms, as well as introductions to a wide range of restaurants. It also contains a complete list of Paris movie theatres and art-related periodicals and newspapers. An essential record of the perception of the French capital by French intellectuals, so crucial to the development of Czech surrealism and other French-inspired tendencies.
Toman 4.3.11 (Foto/montáž tiskem).
Scarce in the trade, especially in the original dust-jacket.
