Russian edition of the first book of Meier-Lemgo (1882-1969), a teacher, local historian, writer and illustrator, which appeared in German with the titel "Eine Mondfahrt" in 1921. This edition for Russian emigres in Germany (and elsewhere) reproduces Meier's lovingly detailed drawings, which depict two children that are taken on a night-time journey to the moon and appear dwarfed against the expanse of the universe.
