First edition of this satirical narrative poem, supposedly written around 1890 and copied down from memory in Cannes in 1921 by the Russian nobleman and poet Vladimir Miatlev. Miatlev was a monarchist and member of the Zemstvo. Before the Revolution he published seven volumes of verse in Russia.
