First edition of the first volume of poems by the Armenian writer Daniel Gevorgyan (1911–1998). Originally from the Southeastern region of Siunik in Armenia, Gevorgyan moved to modern-day Azerbaijan in 1925, where he studied in Baku. He worked as a teacher and a literary editor, and went on to publish for several decades. After 1938, he was a member of the Armenian Writers' Union.
The understated typographically designer wrapper is not attributed.
