A punk-inspired zine by the Łódź branch of Pomarańczowa Alternatywa [Orange Alternative], an anti-communist, quasi-political performance art movement which reached its peak of activity in 1985–1989. Issues of the zine contained satirical art and texts, information about upcoming happenings and descriptions of the Orange Alternative campaign and the pacifist movement "Wolność i Pokoj" (Freedom and Peace). Originating in Wrocław and spreading to Łódź, Warsaw, Gdansk, and other cities, the Orange Alternative resonated especially well with students and young people who were drawn to the humorous and anarchic mass happenings, installations, and stencil art organized by the local cells of the movement. The Łódź branch of the movement was especially active, with the local anarchist activist and musician (leader of the punk cabaret Big Cyc) Krzysztof Skiba publishing this zine and establishing connections between the local punk scene and the movement. Other authors included Andrzej Miastkowski, Michał Gralak, Paweł “Konjo” Konnak, and Pitr Trzaskalski. The authors mocked not only the communist authorities but also any expression of excessive pathos and artificiality in the activities of the opposition. This issue was the seventh of nine published in 1988–1989.
