Prague: self-published, 1983. Oblong octavo (15 × 20.5 cm). Original side-stapled blind wrappers with red rubber stamp title; 37 leaves of carbon copy typescript to rectos. Occasional corrections in pencil and pen. Front wrapper detached from lower staple; overall somewhat worn, but still good. Item #54427

Volume 17 of "Svazky pro dialog" (Books for dialogue), in which Hejdánek reflects on ideas raised by Havel in his prison letters. The series, which was published for a total of 23 issues, was a samizdat philosophical journal published beginning in 1979 in Prague by philosopher and dissident Ladislav Hejdánek, which responded to a need to create a forum for philosophical dialogue. Issued in oblong A5 format, each with a run of 10 to 12 copies, they were typed and bound in simple paper wrappers and published up to five times yearly. This copy features the hand-written number 2 to the upper left corner of the front wrapper and was most likely no. 2 of 10 to 12 copies.

As of June 2024, KVK, OCLC only show one copy of a later issue at the Czech National Library.
