Complete run of the extremely rare Argentinian art journal, which also maintained links with the CAyC group. The journal's director was the poet César Bandin Ron, who founded and edited numerous other journals, including "Pluma y Pincel" and the legendary art magazine "Lyra". Other editors of the short-lived magazine "Artemas" were Enrique Gené and Osiris Chiérico. The latter was one of the best-known and most influential art critics in Argentina. The journal explicitly did not pursue any specific direction, no -ism, no tendency, no position within the art world. Rather, it was intended to lend a voice to the most diverse positions in contemporary Argentinean art and to link them together.

This is the programmatic statement in the first issue: “Artemas offers artists, critics and gallery owners to send them all kinds of information about prizes, trips, exhibitions or publications to make them known through its pages. The magazine is open to all, without distinction, and will serve as an organ of communication for all who deserve it. Any artist can publish in Artemas notes on their work or any kind of statement. Gallery owners can send us their gazettes, with the assurance that the news will be channeled through a newsletter that will appear from the second issue onwards. As long as we can survive, we will try to help.”

Among other things, we would like to highlight an article by Elena de Bertola entitled "Pop e hiperrealism", which deals with the photorealism that was emerging at the time. The founder of CAyC, Jorge Glusberg, was not only the subject of a satire in which he became a comic hero as "Superglusberg", but also published himself in "Artemas" on signs and their conditions of production ("Los signos y sus condiciones de produccion").

Other contributors included Gyula Kosice, Hector Cartier, Ricardo Martin Crosa, Geno Diaz, Deutsch Leopoldo Garcia, Ignacio Pirovano, Oscar Felix Haedo, Raul Russo, Renato Rita, and Carlos Espartaco.

As of February 2024, KVK, OCLC list one complete run and one single issue worldwide.
