A pamphlet documenting the work of the People’s Commissariat of Finance during a crucial period in Soviet Economic transition from capitalist to fully managed economy in 1918–1920. Illustrated with numerous tables, the report was prepared for the 8th Congress of the Soviets, which issued a decree on the abolition of the People’s Bank, the nationalization of banks, and liquidation of mortgages and credits. The abolition paved the way for the nationalization of all trade and industry in the Soviet Union.
