An illustrated exhibition catalog of the Polish conceptual artist Jan Berdyszak (1934–2014), which features his spatial works from 1973–1980, including his series "Areas of Focus". A graduate of the sculpture department of the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznań (1958), Berdyszak worked in sculpture, installation, graphic design, painting, and stage design. The exhibition was held at the BWA gallery (Biuro wystaw artystycznych) established in Lublin in 1956, one of the few galleries that promoted contemporary art in the 1970s and 1980s focusing on formal experiment. Berdyszak's work is held by the Museum of Fine Art in Boston, Staatlisches Museum (Berlin), Pushkin Museum (Moscow) among others. As of February 2025, this catalog from BWA is not found in KVK, OCLC.
