Scarce publication on automobiles and driving, published for Ukrainian Displaced Persons (DP) living in camps and temporary housing near Augsburg, Bavaria, after the end of World War II. The introduction provides a sketch of the development of "automobilism" and a review of leading car brands, before proceeding to explain the various components of the car, their function, as well as the traffic rules and other considerations of drivers. Working as a driver, whether for the military, other aid organizations, or private commerce was a primary way to make a living for many of the Displaced Persons, as well as a key skill that would make them more valuable on the labor market in North America, where many if not most were hoping to resettle.
As of March 2024, KVK, OCLC show four copies, all in North America.
